As natural disasters increase and we see devastation across the world as the result of our own doing, tsunamis are something we have no control over. I have always been very intrigued by the way this loss of life is communicated on the news and wanted to try and use typography to communicate the devastation in a new way. I created a series of experimental typographic posters which were placed within a filing box. As the viewer moved down the posters the last one revealed a glass sheet looking down into a muddy pit with glimpses of belongings hidden beneath the mud.
