stewart brewing: natural selection brewing
Stewart Brewing, award winning Edinburgh brewery which is stocked in supermarkets across the UK, were looking for a student designer to join their Masters brewing team from Heriot Watt who were developing as series of beers for their annual Natural Selection Brewing project. After interviewing and receiving the job we were very much left to our own devices, the five of us developed 10 new beers over the 6 month project. What we knew from the beginning that we wanted to make this project as eco friendly as possible. For this reason we offset our carbon emissions by double, planting trees which are taken care of their entire lives as well as looking at new forms of packaging. This packaging was made instead of from plastics, from corn starch. Organising events across the UK our task was huge. Below you can see the series of beers we developed and I designed.
