geology illustrations
I always remember sitting in Geography class in High School, getting in trouble for spending the entire class drawing detailed sketches of rock corrections and diagrams of their formation. This fascination for the formation of our landscapes here in Scotland inspired me to develop abstracted geological illustrations. Travelling to the impressive Highland Geo Park in Sutherland I spent the summer exploring and hiking across this area documenting my experiences with sketches and photography. From this starting point I developed some illustrations inspired by my time in the Geo Park.
