20x20 album cover
Having spent three years writing my album 20X20 the time had come to create the visuals for Posterboy’s 20 by 20 world. An album’s cover must provide potential listeners with an insight into the music’s sound and content at first viewing. I needed to create a signature image that revealed the character of Posterboy without revelling him physically. For this reason I chose to use objects from around the flat he has locked himself in to provide little insights into his behaviours and interests. The final result is a highly detailed illustrated 12” album cover. The closer you look the more you will see into and understand how Posterboy lives. While living physically in his world, mentally he is online, so I created a composition that looked as though his flat had entered a digital space and glitched.
